ComSense
Technology Inc., a sensor technology company in
Cleveland, took home $35,000 in startup money by
winning first prize in the general technology
track of Case Western Reserve University's
Business Launch Competition, announced Wednesday.
Other general technology finalists: Aqui Systems
Inc., which received $7,500 in startup money,
BioRobots LLC, Think-A-Move and Western Robotics.
Arteriocyte, a Cleveland company that is
commercializing non-embryonic stem cell therapies
for stroke and coronary artery disease, won the
$25,000 bioscience startup prize. Other finalists
in the bioscience track: Mobile Hyperbaric Corp.,
which received $20,000, and CardioInsight Inc.
